LSHISTA!

Let it be known that Myrtle Beach Whale has me laughing so hard I have invented a new acronym that supercedes other acronyms for laughter. LSHISTA (la shish' ta) Means LAUGHING SO HARD I'M SCARING THE ANIMALS!

You know when you've reached LSHISTA when your animals, children, neighbor's come running scared to see what all the screaching, gasping, and guffawing is about.

well, usually a woman has to see me in person to laugh that hard. Well at least you didn't LSHISLP. I think from previous conversations you will figure that out but in case you don't it is:
Laugh So Hard I Smell Like Pee

Usually the closest I get to LSHISLP is when my sister and I go shopping at Barney's in Pinehurst. I don't know what it is, but we have some kind of weird synergy that makes us laugh hysterically and uncontollably when we are together in Barney's. Our favorite inside joke is "Clean-up on isle 6. . .and isle 7."

So far the words haven't been prophetic, but as we get older the possiblility gets stronger. All I have to do is hear her "wheeze out small gasps as if she is laughing, and I have to get far enough away that I can neither see nor hear her!

We can shop anywhere in Coeur d'Alene or Kellogg etc, but Barney's is our undoing. (Maybe it's because she knows so many people who work there.) We have had some close calls at Hallmark in Kellogg, where we read and share greeting cards, and have been unable to discuss the contents because we are laughing so hard - tears running down our faces.

There may be Depends in our future outings at Barney's. (But don't tell anyone!)

I can't believe Barney's is still a going concern.

It's smaller than it was. They have videos and some groceries in the right side, where the variety store used to be. You have to access the entire place via the grocery doors on the left side.

We'll have to see how they fare with the mini Super Wal-Mart in the metropolis of Smelterville - just around the hillside. If their produce is better than the one on my side of town here - they have a fighting chance of takin' Barney's out with their low prices.

Barney's is expensive.
